The Watchers (Aramaic: ʿiyr, עִיר — “the Wakeful Ones”) are a class of angelic beings referenced across a consistent body of canonical and deuterocanonical scripture:
- Daniel 4:13, 17, 23 — Watchers are described as “holy ones” who bring decrees from the Most High. In the context of Daniel, the term applies to angels who carry out the judgment and governance of Adonai-YHVH.
- 1 Enoch 6–16 — The Watchers who fell are the 200 who, under the leadership of Shemihaza and Azazel, descended upon Mount Hermon and took human wives, producing the Nephilim (Genesis 6:1–4). Canonical Expansion: The 70-generation count from Enoch’s perspective is calculated variously by scholars, but the key canonical principle is this: the judgment belongs entirely to Adonai-YHVH. The timing of any release or final adjudication is set by His sovereign decree alone — not by sacred geometry, not by the position of stars, and not by initiatory cycles encoded in earthworks. Revelation 20:1–3 confirms that the binding and release of the chief adversary and his host is exclusively in the hands of YHVH’s messenger — not unlocked by human or occult agency.

What the Document Claims
The Watchers-Release document draws on Manly P. Hall’s esoteric framework to argue that the Americas were outside the Noahic and Mosaic covenants — a “New Atlantis” reserved for a higher spiritual destiny under a universal esoteric plan. The Table of Nations (Genesis 10; Jubilees 8–9) establishes that YHVH divided all the earth among the sons of Noah — including lands unknown to the authors of those texts by name, but not unknown to YHVH. “He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live” (Acts 17:26). The Americas were not outside YHVH’s governance — they were outside the covenant revelation given through Shem, pending the fullness of time.
The Noahic Covenant (Genesis 9:9-17) was made explicitly “with every living creature” on the face of the earth — without geographic restriction. The rainbow sign was set universally. No land mass is excluded from YHVH’s dominion or from the Noahic promise.
The Mosaic Covenant was indeed specific to the nation of Israel; it was not designed for the nations at large. Manly P. Hall’s “New Atlantis” framework is a direct inversion of scriptural truth. It is among the largest effigy mounds in the world. Its spiritual significance to its builders is real.
However, the canonical frame is decisive:

- Root-cutting is identified in scripture as a weapon of the adversary. Isaiah 14:30 uses the image of YHVH cutting the root of the adversary’s nation. John 10:10 — “The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Deliberate severing of children from lineage, language, and covenant memory is a form of spiritual destruction.
- YHVH is the Redeemer of the Root-Cut. Isaiah 58:12 — “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” The foundling, the displaced child, the root-cut nation — all are candidates for radical restoration under YHVH’s covenant of redemption.
- “Ancestral mounds as portals for the departed” — This framing must be corrected. The scripture is clear: the dead do not inhabit sacred sites as accessible spirit presences available for communion. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). 70 Generations (Watcher Binding):
- As noted in Section 2, this comes from 1 Enoch 10:11-15. If one generation = approximately 70-100 years, 70 generations spans roughly 4,900–7,000 years — placing the potential terminus in the current era of history by some calculations. This is the basis for the document’s suggestion that the Watchers’ release corresponds to a current cosmic threshold.
